There is no child in our school who has never heard about the greatest writer Anton Pavlovich Chekhov. This outstanding person brought a huge contribution in Russian literature.
Anton Chekhov was born in January 29 in 1860. The boy was born in a big family in Taganrog. The parents were strict to the children. The boy had to work since the very childhood. At 5 o’clock every morning they had to go to the church and after school they helped his father at the shop. The mom taught the children to be kind, polite and to love and respect the nature.
Anton went to school at the age of 8. When he was 13 Chekhov saw a theatre for the first time. In 1879 a play writer had finished the gymnasium and went to Moscow. His family lost all the money and Chekhov had to take care about his relatives. At the same time Anton had decided to have education as a doctor and he entered Moscow university. Very soon he became a doctor and later on the head of the hospital.
